I don't know about y'all but I know I can't be the only one who get emotionally attached so easily. This is why I prefer watching movies/series solo. Breakthrough movie for example the protagonist - John and his friends playing on ice which breaks swallowing him, the whole miraculous recovery chapter after sinking for 45 minutes.
Doctors had no hopes they even told the mother to say her goodbyes to John. The believe, hope, one love and prayers that Joyce had towards her son is all we need. I couldn't control my tears the moment John regains consciousness from a coma, hears his mother's voice and opens his eyes, with full cognitive ability.
The choice of breakthrough list of music, soundtracks are just emotival crisis. Songs discovered in movie especially those played during emotional parts are high contributors to tears rolling down the cheeks uncontrollably. There is a moment John's friend visited him outside the hospital to sing and to pray for his recovery and a tear trickles from his eye so did I.
If you've watched it and never felt emotionally attached, all I can say is, 'shame on you mofo'.
